The purpose of the event is to display Chinese culture in bilingualism and to understand China and its culture in stories, according to the Miss Luxin Wei, the Director of Chinese Language Institute Middle East (CLIME).
Students from different nationalities, including Chinese, Emiratis, Australian, Lebanese, Pakistanis, etc joined the competitions by telling Chinese historical stories and legends, introducing important Chinese arts, festivals, and traditional foods, and also performing Chinese culture talent shows.
This is a significant competition, as it will provide a platform for UAE students who are interested in Chinese language and culture, to deeply understand China and show the colorful China to the world.
